November 2022 Grateful for the great success of the AEG2C symposium! Organizing this symposium was such a rewarding scientific journey! More than 15 speakers shared their knowledge and 300 participants registered from around the world. This shows the importance of advancing diversity in genomics in Canada. Thanks to my fellow co-organizers, and to the CIHR-IG, the McGill CERC in Genomic Medicine, Genome Canada and Genome Quebec for their financial support. 
November 2022 The AEG2C McGill Satellite event is held on campus at Thomson House. It was great to hear students showcasing their work on EDI in genomics! Thanks to the 60 participants! Thanks to the Human Genetics Student Society for co-organizing the event with me. Lastly, thanks to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for financial support.

October 2022 The Bhérer lab is welcoming Justin Pelletier as bioinformatics analyst. Justin has recently graduated with MSc in Bioinformatics from Université de Montréal focusing on genotype imputation in the French Canadian population! Welcome Justin!
